About Lepus
Thanks for stopping by my shop
Old world oil paintings for your walls and your Frame TV, from a small shop in the UK.
Why the hare
I'm Kian, and Lepus is my small shop, run from the UK. Lepus is Latin for hare, which is why there is one on every page.
I make the kind of paintings I'd want on my own walls: Tuscan villas, English country houses, libraries by candlelight, firesides and old stables. Warm, quiet and a little old fashioned. Plus a few with a sense of humour, like the frog reading the paper on the loo.
How they're made
Plenty of time and effort has gone into creating these, with the help of AI. My Etsy listings say the same.
The room photos are mockups that show how a painting looks on a wall or a TV. The frames, furniture and TVs are not included.
Why Etsy
Every painting is sold through my Etsy shop. You get Etsy's checkout and purchase protection, and your files arrive the moment you pay.
